At Sunnyside, our family-run site offers touring pitches available for 11 months of the year, providing the perfect setting for a peaceful countryside escape. This adult-only touring park is nestled in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, just a short distance from the historic town of Shrewsbury.
Conveniently located between the villages of Astley and Hadnall, with easy access from both the A53 and A49, Sunnyside is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Whether you’re looking to discover local attractions, enjoy scenic walks, or simply relax, everything is within easy reach.
For those seeking a little extra comfort, we now offer a brand new 2-berth glamping pod, perfect for short breaks. The pod is dog-friendly, making it a great option if you want to bring your four-legged companion along to enjoy the countryside with you.
Guests can unwind and enjoy a slower pace of life, whether you’re touring with your caravan or spending time by the water. Our well-stocked on-site fishery provides a relaxing experience for anglers of all levels, with landing nets and unhooking mats supplied for your convenience.
To make your stay even easier, our on-site Milward Bait & Tackle shop is fully stocked with everything you need for a successful day’s fishing, from bait and tackle to essential accessories.

River cruises on the River Severn on ‘Sabrina Goddess of the River”. Sabrina boat runs 6 daily boat trips around the river Severn loop with live commentary & table service. Dogs are welcome, toilets are onboard and there is disabled access onto the boat.
