We are a family-run Caravan Site based in the Heart of Shropshire, with the beautiful surrounding countryside and stunning woodland walks, our site offers guests peaceful and relaxing surroundings complete with a lovely lake view around all of the park.

Here at Sunnyside, our family run site has pitches available 11 months of the year. Our adult only touring site is situated in the lovely Shropshire countryside, close to the historic town of Shrewsbury. Located between the villages of Astley and Hadnall off either the A53 or A49. The location is an ideal base to explore this wonderful countryside.

Enjoy a relaxing countryside break, whether you are caravaning or enjoying a relaxing days fishing, we have a well stocked fishery with landing nets and unhooking mats supplied.

Sabrina Boat

River cruises on the River Severn on ‘Sabrina Goddess of the River”. Sabrina boat runs 6 daily boat trips around the river Severn loop with live commentary & table service. Dogs are welcome, toilets are onboard and there is disabled access onto the boat.

Shrewsbury Prison

A decommissioned Victorian jail where you can walk in the footsteps of our social history. Visit the original Victorian cells, exercise yards and even the execution room. Additional activities available – A night behind bars, Prison Break.

Stokesay Castle

The finest and best-preserved fortified medieval manor house in England. Don’t miss the stunning views from the gable windows of the great hall and the tearoom serving delicious lunches and cakes with beautiful views over the Shropshire countryside

The Quarry Park & Dingle

29 acres of parkland encircled by the River Severn. Relax, enjoy walks, picnic, fish. Visit the Dingle sunken garden at the heart of the Quarry (cultivated by Percy Thrower).

Shrewsbury Castle & Soldiers of Shropshire Museum

Explore the walled grounds, including great views from the tower. Visit the Soldiers of Shropshire military museum within the castle.

Attingham Park - National Trust

An 18th century estate, with 200 acre parkland and Regency Mansion. Visit the mansion and gardens, explore the parkland, dog friendly walks.
